Condominios Costa

the luxury of a beachfront oasis

Beachside Residence

Our project involves a 36-unit apartment building remodel in Acapulco, Mexico, situated along the beautiful Costera seaside. The primary objective was to create a soothing environment for leisure and comfort. To achieve this, we used a material palette of raw concrete and oak wood in neutral tones, blending modernity with the coastal landscape. Additionally, drought-tolerant vegetation was strategically scattered throughout the site, enhancing the natural ambiance. The design maximized ocean views, encouraged natural light, and included communal spaces like rooftop terraces, fostering a connection to nature and providing a peaceful retreat for residents and visitors alike.

Challenge

One of the main challenges for this project was to strike a delicate balance between modernity and the natural environment. While the design intent focuses on creating a soothing environment using raw concrete, oak wood, and drought-tolerant vegetation, it is essential to ensure that these elements seamlessly blend with the stunning Costera seaside landscape. Integrating the coastal surroundings without compromising the functionality and aesthetics of the apartment building requires careful consideration and thoughtful design solutions. Additionally, the project faced many logistical and construction challenges, given its seaside location and the need to adhere to local regulations and sustainability practices. Overcoming these hurdles was crucial to deliver a successful outcome that harmonizes with nature and fulfills the goal of providing a tranquil space for leisure and comfort to its residents.
